CaraVita also serves actively in partnership with the Georgia Department of the Community Health in the development of Proxy Care regulations and House Bill 486 and Senate Bill 178, or the \u201cAging in Place\u201d bills. We have provided training to local ombudsman, Georgia State University and Lanier Technical College students, as well as to local churches, business community members, safety and government officials, senior living communities and hospitals. Weaving thousands of dreams from the simple to the sublime. The mission of Second Wind Dreams\u00ae (SWD) is simple \u2014 to change the perception of aging through the fulfillment of dreams and the offering of innovative educational opportunities to caregivers and communities.<\/p>\n                        <p>Second Wind Dreams\u00ae is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation governed by a Board of Directors that provides the guidance and support necessary to continue its mission and expand its impact. Financial support for Second Wind Dreams\u00ae comes from individual contributions, memberships, corporations and eldercare industry associations. Additional revenue is generated as a result of SWD\u2019s educational program, the Virtual Dementia Tour\u00ae. The Virtual Dementia Tour is a scientifically proven method designed to increase sensitivity toward those with dementia. In a country plagued with poverty, HIV and tribal distrust these pastors and lay people are being trained to offer a global peace initiative by sharing their faith and God\u2019s purpose for their lives in a manner that helps break down barriers of cultural tension and transforms lives. None of the current scholarship students has either the education or money to afford training. Our goal at the center is to develop a self-sustaining ministry that will provide a hand up for this developing country to improve the citizens of the communities they serve. We partner in this effort with Roswell United Methodist Church and the National Christian Foundation.<\/p>\n                        <p>Mission Trips of staff and local health, micro-enterprise, reconciliation counseling, clean water and education volunteers are organized yearly.
